The 2019 Anchor Survey results are in…

In the second half of 2019, KCGM launched the Local Voices program in Kalgoorlie-Boulder. The Anchor survey is an important first step because it allows the Voconiq team to determine the current community views on a broad range of issues and understand how they all fit together. Importantly, we can work out what are the key drivers of community trust in KCGM and the acceptance of its operations.

What’s next?

Voconiq Local Voices has three main components:

  1. The Anchor Survey: provides a comprehensive baseline of community experiences with KCGM, its operation, and views about town life (completed)
  2. Conversation Cafes: explore and discuss the data we collect, together. Round 1 was undertaken in February 2020. Learn more
  3. Quarterly ‘Pulse’ surveys: to check-in on the key drivers of trust in the relationship between KCGM and Kalgoorlie-Boulder, as well as topical issues as they arise.
