Marsupial Mummas and Pappas Inc are a volunteer animal rescue group based in Toodyay. They focus on rescuing and rehabilitating native animals, birds, and reptiles in the wider Avon region, taking in animals from anywhere in Western Australia. With 90 members and 60 active carers, they are one of the largest wildlife groups in the State. There are no grants to cover the costly but critical consumables such as food and special milks for the lactose intolerant marsupials. With the help of Voconiq Local Voices, we can ensure Mummas and Pappas can continue to rescue, rehabilitate, and release native animals back to where they belong.
